Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS is a configuration-free wireless CAN bridge that achieves predictable latency, without sacrificing stability or range. Comprising a preconfigured pair of plug-and-play units to rapidly exchange raw CAN data, the Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS is designed for environments or situations that make wired connection unsuitable or challenging e.g. between two moving parts that are connected by CAN.

Major Features 
 

  • ​​​​​​8000 messages per second, each time-stamped with 100 microsecond accuracy

  • Supports both 11-bit (CAN 2.0A) and 29-bit (CAN 2.0B active) identifiers

  • High-speed CAN connection (compliant with ISO 11898-2), up to 1 Mbit/s.

  • Galvanic isolation, previously a more expensive option on Kvaser's original Leaf Light, now comes as standard on the Leaf Light v2, enhancing protection from power surges or electrical shocks.

  • Low current consumption (90 mA) reduces power drain from your laptop.

  • Local buffering and preprocessing results in high performance and a reduction of time critical tasks for the PC.


There are two versions: Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS (00808-3) is approved for the European Union, while Kvaser Air Bridge Light HS (FCC) (01008-6) complies with US certification. Both share the same functionality but have different radio transmission schemes due to regulatory differences.

Powerkey PKP-3500-SI with Rotary Dial
The PKP-3500-SI-MT is a new direction in CANbus keypads. This all-new design comes equipped with thirteen push buttons with replaceable icon inserts, plus two rotary encoders that are also push-enabled.

Thanks to four additional analog and digital inputs, it is possible to connect 5V sensors directly to the CANbus network through the keypad.

The compact layout, and inclusion of the rotary encoders, allows for significant dash space saving while expanding the functionality of the vehicle.
 
PKP-3500-SI-MTR
Includes 2 rotary encoders with a rubber knob that allows for a standard PKP-SI icon insert to be fitted.
 
PKP-3500-SI-MTP
Includes 2 rotary encoders with a solid plastic knob.
 
This range of CAN Keypads in the PKP PRO series are the only ones currently on the market that boast keys with removable and interchangeable inserts. PKP Keypads are available in two series with two different icon insert sizes. The PKP-SI series presents small inserts (15mm) and a compact design, while the PKP-LI series is designed with large, 24mm inserts that are easy to press, even while wearing gloves.
 
The use of CAN bus protocols (J1939, CANopen, RS485) makes keypads in the PRO series perfect for both automotive and nautical markets.

BUILT TOUGH
Designed for even the harshest conditions, the PowerKey PRO withstands the cleaning force of pressure washers and holds on IP67 rating, making it immune to water, mud, soil, sand, oil, chemicals or anything else thrown at it.

CAN OPEN PROTOCOL
Assign any valid CAN address to the keypad while also assigning the same or a different RS485 address. Communicate on either BUS simultaneously.
 
CUSTOMIZABLE INSERT
The replacement system for individual inserts makes designing and modifying the layout of the keypads in the PKP-SI and PKP-LI series simpler and more economical. A selection of hundreds of different pre-existing keys can be viewed, and it is possible to order customized inserts.
 
EASY TO READ
With simple Icons, large buttons and bright LED indicators, the PowerKey PRO can-bus keypad is easy to read in any situation. The multi-colored LED status rings also allow you to set specific colors for specific functions.
