Raptor customers have access to the latest software releases for a period of one year after their purchase as standard. Each software release adds new features and addresses bug fixes, and maintains compatibility with Matlab. If customers wish to maintain access to new software releases after their first year of using the product, they can purchase a software maintenance license. Software maintenance licenses are valid for 1 year and can be renewed in perpetuity. Additionally, software maintenance allows you to access standard support.
Software Maintenance plans are the most cost-effective way to protect your software investment and gain the greatest value from your Raptor products. Software Maintenance allows you to keep your software up-to-date.
Standard support is provided for software products for the current purchased release and one thereafter, unless subscribed to a Maintenance plan.
- Licenses are non-ending permission to use the software. Maintenance is optional.
- A license includes two major software releases as well as the ability to request big fixes, receive software support, and to request new/improved software features. For example, if a license is purchased during version 2020a, version 2020b is also included.
- Maintenance purchases allow for two additional major release updates. For example, If a 2020a license is purchased, Maintenance may be purchased to extend support and software versions to 2021a & 2021b.
- Annual Maintenance purchases are required to maintain eligibility for purchasing Maintenance. For example, if a 2020a license is purchased and Maintenance is not purchased before the release of 2021a, you must purchase a new license for software 2021b and later. Additionally, software support is not available for users that do not purchase Maintenance.
